I see Pearce being pushed to the outfield on pretty much on an everyday basis. (After opening day) I see that costing Snider at bats. What do you see?

I see Snider playing every time there is a right handed pitcher. 80% of the time. Unless he is hurt. That is what I see.

I also think you will see Manny getting more days off with CD sliding over and Pearce at first.

I seriously doubt we will see CD at 3B very often. His range is not very good there. Flaherty proved in the playoffs that he can backup 3B. Paredes in not that good there but he will probably see more time there than CD.

So what you mean is he is filling the 2014 Nelson Cruz spot? Not enough power.

No I do not see Paredes as a Cruz replacement. I think he can do just fine being himself. He can hit for average with doubles and triples. An occasion homer. He's not a power slugger IMO.

Where do you see Pearce getting his at bats and how often?

Against every lefthander. And against right handers that he has good stats against. I sww 400 + Plate appearances. I see him in left field when a lefty is on the mound. I see him playing first twice a month. I see him playing DH when Paredes is no longer with the club.

So far you are talking about 200 at bats. He is going to play almost every day. He is one of the O's best hitter. He is not going to sit so Snider can play.

Good problems to have. I see the hot hand getting the ab's. Do we see Paredes as a leadoff candidate? Sounds more like a replacement for Nicks bat.

Cabrera is beginning to hit better. If he keeps that up he could see a lot of playing time as the leadoff hitter while Hardy is out. After that, I don't know where Buck goes with leadoff.

If I were setting an over/under on Paredes' OPS this year, I'd put it at .650. His career OPS is .609. He isn't good enough to play in the majors in my opinion. He is not going to get any at bats at DH and he definitely isn't a leadoff candidate or a Markakis replacement.

If Flash is the utility infielder, what does Paredes bring to the table? We could have an 8th guy in the pen to keep Verrett or Garcia.

I think he will have 350 at bats. At least. If his wrists hold up for that many. He has had 1283 plate appearances at age 31.
