Cabrera should have been Day 1 starter.

Over Machado at 3B, not Schoop. Schoop hitting .300 so far on the early season and Machado has failed to get a single hit. Some MVP caliber player. ;)

All I've been hearing all off season is we will be getting Machado, Davis, and Wieters back but do they know the season has started? Where they at? Haha

How misinformed. Cabrera doesn't play 3B.

You wanted Cruz back. Davis has been on base three times as much as Cruz has in less PAs. Manny's been on base twice as much and has more RBI. Where you at?

Lmao. Cabrera not being a third baseman had nothing to do with it. It was a sarcastic comment toward the ppl who were talking junk on Schoop when he hit in the low .200s but still thought CD would be a big influence after he struggled to stay in the .200s.

Yes I would have liked to see us match the Ms offer, but nowhere in this did I mention Cruz. We didn't match it, it's a new season not ST anymore and I'm over it. I'm not even following him like you seem to be. You seem to be more interested in seeing him fail to reassure yourself the Os made the right move.

And No MDK, these are not my true feelings. Involving Manny was just a small shot at the ones who was thinking of Manny as a top 5 MVP candidate, if healthy.

Even if Healthy Manny is still a baby in this game and has more learning to do to be consistent enough all year to be a MVP candidate. Even though he has supreme talent with a high ceiling. And even as good as he is, he's not Mike Trout good, not yet.

I hope Cruz has a great season when he's not playing Baltimore. It appears like you are the one who is enjoying an Oriole starting the season with an 0-for. That seems kind of odd for an Oriole fan to do. Do you also hate it when he makes great plays in the field like he did on yesterday and Wednesday?

This is hilarious. This is the exact kind of reaction I was looking for. Ppl who take stuff so literally. Im not happy he is 0 for but at the same time I'm not upset because like UpstateNYfan, I too understand he will get it together but I do think it is time for him to at least get his first hit. He is overdue imo. Thats why I made this post while I could. To make light of the fact that some ppl think they know all and try to belittle others just because of a difference of opinion (not necessarily directed towards you. Just to be clear).

Other than the Health of Wieters and Hardy, the only thing about this team that worries me is the SP (outside of Tillman) and Davis. Other than that I'm liking the look of the team currently.

I'm relatively new here and while I enjoy sarcasm as much as the next guy, I think it's poor form to preemptively strike against "those who take everything literally," especially when the sarcasm is incredibly veiled. Do you really think you are preventing the knee-jerk reaction guys from still starting threads when Manny goes 0 for his first 15 or whatever ?

And it seems like the situation you are attempting to make light of is not those posters who think they know all but the posters who feel compelled to respond to the knee jerk reaction threads with rationality and patience.
