MASN vs NESN

I get MASN, YES, and NESN as part of our sports package. Red Sox have day off today. So NESN is showing a Pawtucket game. Still get your baseball fix tonight. I guess you could argue that we could watch the Nationals, but it would be nice if MASN2 could show Norfolk games (or Columbus games I think for Nats.) When the team is off.

I think they would want to resolve the right fees first.

What rights fees? I'd assume that the reason the Tides aren't on MASN is that the expected ratings share would be (whatever 17 people divided by the total media market is). The rights fees for a program with essentially zero viewers would be essentially zero. When I was in Virginia Beach recently the Tides were on what appeared to be some minor local cable channel, maybe the kind of thing that otherwise would be televising the Park and Rec committee meeting.
