Baltimore Orioles INF Jimmy Paredes joins the Baysox today on a Major League Rehab Assignment.

Starting Pitchers: RHP Branden Kline makes his second start of the season tonight...coming off of a strong performance against Richmond...struck out 10 batters in 5 innings...Orioles 2nd round pick in 2012 draft out of University of Virginia...Was a reliever in first two seasons with Cavaliers before starting in junior season...Highest drafted player ever from Frederick, MD...Missed much of 2013 season with fractured leg suffered during workout in season...Spent the majority of 2014 with Advanced-A Frederick, his hometown, going 8-6 with a 3.84 ERA...Was 1-6at home and 7-0 on the road...Made his Eastern League debut on August 20th at home against Reading and made three starts with Bowie...Is from right down the road in Frederick, Md. where he went to Thomas Johnson High School before attending the University of Virginia where he was teammates with former Baysox RHP Tyler Wilson for two seasons...Enters the season as the Orioles #26 prospect according to Baseball America...

First pitch is slated for 6:35 pm with coverage beginning 20-minutes prior on 1430wnav.com and the Tune-In radio app.

It'd be nice to see Paredes get a little hot before we make a decision. I'm a Paredes over Lough guy as well, but I don't think our manager is. Looks like the lack of options problem is going to be a season long trend. DD spent 3 years shuffling players around to find guys that were nuggets. These are the 25 that have survived. So they need to produce.
