I'm not trying to dampen anyone's fun after today, but I was reflecting on Friday night's game. Anyone have any idea why we didn't walk Bogaerts? 1st base open, 1 out, bottom of the ninth in a tie game, would have thought that would be automatic.

Good point. Only thing I can think of is that a base hit is going to lose the game for you. If you walk Bogaerts, you set up the double play, but if you don't get it then you have to face Betts or possibly Pedroia. I would rather face Bogaerts and Hanigan than Hanigan and Betts with Pedroia coming up.

Bogarts hit a lame blooper that just so happened to drop in for a hit. Didn't make good contact at all, basically just got lucky
