Matt Garza is 4-7 with a 4.80 ERA and a 1.440 WHIP.

Kyle Lohse is 3-7 with a 6.27 ERA and a 1.406 WHIP.

Their team OPS+ is 79. Seventy-nine.

The Brewers may be the worst team in baseball. Hard to believe with names like Braun, Gomez, Segura and Lucroy.

The Brewers pulled Garza out of the rotation for the rest of the year (5.63 ERA) and then asked him to pitch out of the pen.

He refused.

Should be fun times as he is under contract for two more seasons.

This change anyone's mind about him?

Why should the Brewers just not suspend him until he decides to work?

I don't know, but it's scary how much like the Brewers we turned out to be like.

I don't see the resemblance. The Brewers have a worse offense, better rotation and worse bullpen.

Brewers (60-76)

560 runs

617 runs allowed

91 OPS+

95 ERA+

Orioles (65-71)

591 runs

565 runs allowed

97 OPS+

103 ERA+

The Orioles are at 73-75 overall.

The Brew Crew are at 62-86 overall.

Who do you think would be the more desirable organization to take over on day 1 of the offseason? I'd have to think about it. Machado/Jones/Schoop/Gausman with a couple tradable assets is pretty good starting point. Brewers are much much better situated with homegrown talent on the way. Interesting choice.

Any team that is obligated to Ryan Braun is in trouble. In my opinion.

I don't know.

I just made a post so that the Brewers' de facto 2015 thread wouldn't get lost at the end of the season.
