I don't understand having the game in Baltimore given the circumstances. What about people who rely on public transportation to get to the games? You never throw people to the wolves.

They are supposed to have MTA cops and perhaps National Guard on the light rail.

I hope they will at least have the sense to close the bars around the stadium. I don't know who "started it" but drunk fans were clearly involved in the initial outburst on Saturday.

Not sure filling the stands is any kind of priority. If they decide that it is safe enough around the stadium that is their judgment call. I would expect less than 10 k in attendance. People can come at their own risk.

Not from the area but I would be concerned that there will s group whose main focus will be to have a bad effect on that game.

Yeah, but they won't be accompanying people when they get off the train. It just creates opportunity in this tough time down there.

Being near the stadium almost working. The Guard is all along Pratt to the stadium.

To add to this, the stadium is small, but the IronBirds don't start until June, so the Orioles could schedule the remainder of the home stand in Aberdeen, and assure sellouts every night and most importantly, assure the safety of the players and fans.

And for those saying baseball is not important right now, I ask you, how fast do you think the games in Aberdeen would sell out? I say 20 minutes.

Not sure. I assume they groom the field all year, but not really sure. I would think the concessions would not be ready though.

It really ticks me off that they are not playing today. It screws up the Orioles rotation and it means the Orioles might only play four games this week. Will the Orioles even play tomorrow or will the White Sox players fly home today?
