When I read your post, I thought that you HATED Beltre:

I thought that another player had just hit his 400th career home run, and you thought that he had a chance for 500, and 3,000 hits ...... and then, the thought of Beltre doing the same (hitting 500 HR's, collecting 3,000 hits, and being a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer) turned your stomach.
