I like Wright (much more than Wilson) - but as a reliever - perhaps a future closer; not a starter. He's got the quality fastball - that would likely be consistently upper 90's as a reliever. He did well at Norfolk, but he's a not a kid - and he hasn't been real good as a starter for most of his minor league career. As a starter, he seems like a guy who'll likely never be more than a 5th starter, imo.

Tough outing tonight and the last few - definitely showing some vulnerabilities. I think we'll see Wilson instead of Wright next time through the rotation.

We'll give a look as a starter in ST next year, but think he'll be more of a bullpen option going forward (consistent with many scouts/others have said).

I hope he gets a shot...with another club.

I'm probably in the minority, but I wish we would have dealt Wright for Parra instead of Davies.

Was that even an option ???

I had never heard of that.

That doesn't necessarily mean that it wasn't on the table, it's just that I had not heard of that possibility.
