Minor League Ball Community Mock Draft

I will be taking on the daunting task of Orioles scouting director in the community mock draft at 1 o'clock. Here's a link to the Orioles WAR room if anyone wants to participate in the targets discussion leading up to each pick. The draft ends after Round 4, so I'll be selecting five players in total for the Orioles. I'll post the picks later in this thread if anyone is interested in seeing who I take.

Not knowing anything about other options, Stewart and Kirby look good on paper. Fast movers who could factor into the ML plans by 2017. After grabbing them, we'll probably take 7 catchers, 12 relief pitchers, and at least a handful of low risk/high reward guys with injury histories.

I definitely factored in who I thought the O's might pick with the first two picks. After that, I just went off my board of players. Although, the Robinson pick had local connections in mind and I think the O's will select a Maryland product at some point in the draft. Lots of draftable talent on that team this year. Happy to see the Maryland program doing so well.

Out of Gary Rajisch's three drafts, I like the 2013 draft the most where they went heavy for high school talent (Harvey, Hart, Sisco, Heim, Murphy).
