I don't think we've hit a homerun in a few games. I'm going to predict a homerun today, and I'm saying either Huff, Jones, or Costanzo, which it would probably be one of them anyway because I don't see any of the other guys in the lineup today hitting one.

Seems like I recall a lot of them being bloops and bleeders.

The Orioles need to land a good middle infielder w/some upside-if not now, sometime this year.

Tradition field looks pretty nice.

Perez is getting the start today for the Mets. They showed Beltran running around in the outfield in full gear so I think he's going to DH. Just a guess no lineup from them yet.

Roberson pops up to the first basemen Carlos Delgado.

Hernandez is pretty fast. He almost made it on base in front of the throw but couldn't beat it out. Two out.

Gibbons begins going 0-2 and the second pitch was a slider in the dirt that the catcher had to run to get.

Worked the count back from 0-2 to 3-2 and then got an down and away fastball that he hit into the gap for a double.

Huff is up now.

Huff hits a single to center field, Gibbons tries to speed it into the plate but the Center Fielder makes a bad throw home and the catcher can't hold onto the ball as Gibbons slides in safe. 1-0 O's

Huff goes to second on the throw home and Jones is up so far 0-1 after fouling one away.

Jones pops up to the left fielder in foul territory. He was sitting at 2-2 for about four pitches before hitting it. End of the top of the first.
