So if you have a gmail, yahoo, verizon and other accounts you can vote 35 times on each?
Yes.
To vote on MLB.com, your email address must be valid and you will receive limited email about ballot participation during this year's All-Star Game Balloting Program. You may vote in the All-Star Balloting Program 35 times between 4/29/15 and 7/2/15.

The voting process is flawed. The players should vote for the starters and players cannot vote for a fellow team member. Let the fans vote for the subs. So, yeah, the process is broken but it is what it is.

What I don?t get the outrage aimed at the Royals fans. It seems to me that they are doing the same thing that I have seen advocated on this board each year. Posts reminding fans to get every one of their 35 ballots cast. Suggestions that multiple e-mail accounts be created to get even more opportunities to cast additional ballots. See if a friend will let a fan use his/her e-mail address to send in ballots. Heck, even the Orioles official web site is urging fans to give the Orioles a ?big boost? in voting. Last year the team offered a chance to win team merchandise for voting for the ?last man?. And now comes a request for anybody with a CS degree to create a program that will automate the required code to allow easier voting.

Fire at will.

I was completely joking when I said to write a code for it. I'd actually like to see every Royal make it just to see how the new commish handles it.

Also, they have programs that can read and fill in captcha, etc.

The Royals continue to have all the starting spot minus Trout in the outfield. It's horrifying that they're going to have a heavy influence on home field advantage. Please step in MLB

I want Rios to push Trouty out. I do.

Buck Says it is a Virus.

"What, do they have a virus in the computer or something?" Showalter asked. "It's got to be, right? There's got to be a virus in the computer. Really?"

Infante is batting .204 /.213/.283 in 53 games.

"Infante's the one who made the eighth?" Showalter said. "What's he hitting now, .204? He must be having a heck of a defensive year."

The internet voting has been around for a while, this is the first time it's gotten truly ridiculous. It can't just be KC fans there aren't enough of them. I think Buck's right, some computer hacker is having fun? Alex Rios?

I signed up with 5 different addresses the other day and threw 175 votes each, solely for every Royals and Cardinals starter. I truly believe an example needs to be made of how broken this system has become.

As much as I agree with you, I couldn't bring myself to vote for a Royal.

MLB should have stepped in by now.

Don't forget about the Cardinals.

A group of Kansas City fans have figured out a way to delete and restore their e-mails and vote up to 1000 times daily. Looks like they're trending.

    • Yeah I was thinking this might be good for both the team and Hays. Chance for him to press the reset button if nothing else.
    • Actually, if you think about it, as long as there is a right handed pitcher with this lineup, once Westburg bats, there will always be 8 lefties in a row after that. 🤔
    • Sending Jackson down does nothing, there is nothing left to prove down there. He is taking good ABs, he is working counts, he looks fine in the field etc. I have used the Cowser comp, not to say he should be sent down, in the sense that Cowser looked particularly lost at times during his callup last year. Jackson is facing some professional adversity for the first time as a professional keep running him out there.    The fortunate thing is he isn't hurting the team in a significant way right now, and when it finally does click the Orioles will be just that much better.
    • Actually move Westburg to 7th so there’s not so many lefties in a row.
    • I’ll go with: Gunnar SS Adley C O’Hearn 1B Tony RF Westburg 3B Mullins CF Cowser LF Kjerstad DH Holliday 2B
    • The question is, can he be productive playing just 1-2 times a week? We don't know because he's never really been in that role. Not everyone can stay productive in a part-time role. I think the Orioles will find a way to get him in the lineup 4-5 days a week. He can play corner outfield (except I would not play him in LF in Camden), DH and 1B. He still does not look great at 1B, but he can be serviceable if it means getting his bat into the lineup. That's a decent amount of ways to keep him and others fresh. Santander probably is at risk to sit a bit more than usual, but this also gives the Orioles an opportunity to have a very left-handed heavy lineup against righties at times, with Mountcastle sitting. The Orioles left-handed heavy lineup could be: 1. Henderson - SS 2. Rutschman - C 3. O'Hearn - 1B 4. Santander - RF 5. Cowser - LF 6. Mullins - CF 7. Westburg - 3B (R) 8. Kjerstad - DH 9. Holliday - 2B Imagine having to face that lineup and then have Mountcastle, McCann, Urias and Mateo for pinch running as a bench. Now don't get me wrong, Mountcastle is not going to be benched all that much, but Kjerstad could give Santander, Cowser, Mullins (with Cowser moving to CF), O'Hearn, Mountcastle, and Rutschman when he DHing a day off.  That's a lot of ways to keep him fresh and get his bat in the lineup.
    • If so, probably just for 2 days or so.
