Has anyone watched on video his throws from the OF? Was anyone else concerned?

Mid-2017 if we are lucky. Kolten Wong, no. 22 pick in 2011, was called up in mid-August 2013. He was a top-100 prospect the entire time he was in the minors,and had an advanced glove that allowed him to provide some value in 2013 even though his bat wasn't fully developed. That's about as quick as it gets for a college position player drafted in the bottom half of the first round.

But don't some scouts think he was the best hitter in the draft?

I'd be concerned if they were going to put him in right or center.

September 2017 is my guess for him.

I think his defense skills dropped him out of the top of the draft list, but as you stated, would be okay to place him in left.

Won't happen. They will at least hold him back long enough to get the seventh year. More probably long enough to avoid Super 2 status.

Not me. Not at all. We had Buford, and McLouth and they worked.

Hopefully, they can work with his batting to tweak the power and not impact his ability to hit.

Maybe some do. I doubt that matters much in terms of his time line. Just go through the last few drafts and you'll see there really aren't college hitters who are moving that fast.

Some Boards initially had him as high as ten overall. The positional limitations and unsually stance pushed other's ahead of hm. Also. Boras. He was a sign, not an easy sign.
