There is a also a difference between out of shape and athletic. Stewart has a different body type, but I hear the word athletic describing him when I read about him.

He was a HS football star. He runs pretty well (average) for a big guy. I think that's where "athletic" comes from. And, apparently, he doesn't look like a klutz in the outfield.
