The Houston Chronicle reported that the Orioles are expressing interest in a few of the Astros' minor league outfielders, including LJ Hoes, who began yesterday batting .341/.424/.475 with 18 doubles, one triple, three home runs, 38 RBIs and 11 stolen bases in 58 games at Triple-A Fresnso.

I like how Roch has cleveland's stats against Norris instead of Texas.

lol, nice catch! I totally missed that.

Roch, if you're reading this........

Current Rangers against Norris:

.239/.301/.463/.764

Beltre has 2 HR in 6 AB vs Bud.

Fielder and Hamilton both have a bomb against him too but in slightly larger sample sizes (both have .800+ OPS's against him overall)

Strictly to fortify the depth at AAA after we move two of our ML outfielders.

I like Hoes. I mean who doesn't?

Unless your Mobb Deep ("We Don't Love Them Hoes").....

But why? He doesn't seem like a major leaguer at this point.

As an optionable version of Delmon Young.

Young has already been replaced, so they need not do anything when they move him. It's the second guy who gets moved that's trickier. That's why I suggested Hoes would be an optionable replacement for Lough.

He is 25 years old and his OBP is .418 at AAA. If he were in the Oriole system people would be screaming for him to be at the ML level.
