How can you say that he's highly unlikely to be an all star? That baffles me. He has all the tools. He is one of our core pieces moving forward.

He doesn't have all the tools.

He's got defense and power.

He isn't a speedster and he doesn't look to have many years with a high OBP.

Eh, defense and power are enough for a middle infielder to make the All Star team (see: JJ Hardy, and Dan Uggla who made the team in his two best defensive seasons).

I'm not arguing that, if you look back just a few more posts you will see me saying that I think Schoop has a good chance to make an all star team or two.

I just can't agree that Schoop is anything close to a five tool player.

Has it been determined that he can be recalled on account of time missed due to paternity leave?

According to Encina, not only can he be recalled, he doesn't have to be the guy sent down when Reimold's paternity leave is over. Maybe they send down Gonzalez then.

Oh, nevermind then, sorry.

Nolan. All but certainly.

No way he can be sent down.Mike Bordick said he is a game changer when healthy. He also said Delmon Young is one of the better right handed bats in the league and Buck thinks he is a valuable asset to the Orioles. On second thought maybe you are right. If he does go it is not for a lack of effort. The Oriole coaches and players are the hardest working in the league.

That's because it takes so much work to get these crummy players to play even half way decent.
