The twins are secretly a top 3 team in MLB right now. They started out terrib, but they don't have many holes in their team. All star caliber 1b, 2b, arguably 3b, with good starting pitching and a lock down bullpen.

This is bad. The only consolation is that we have not lost much ground, and we are still above .500. For now. It can get worse.

From 18-5 to 2-8. From a great bullpen to one that lost three or four games during this stretch. From a chance to put some distance between us and the rest of the division to going from seven over .500 to one over. This is a rather down time.

By now, one of the corner outfielders has to step up. Lough, Reimold, Pearce, Snider, Parm.

If not, this try out will doom the team. I expect Hardy, Wieters and Schoop to improve offensively. We need one more reliever so that we can get rid of Hunter and/or Norris.

It is for me. The 18-5 stretch looked like we had put the right team together. This 2-8 mess (where only Manny has looked good) has me thinking about the 2016 team already. Yuck.
