Gutted it? Yeah, somewhat.

Completely gutted it? No way.

I think by tomorrow night, their farm will pretty well gutted.

Something tells me they aren't done buying yet. They'll get another starter, that's my guess.

Labourt similar upside/stuff but behind Rodriguez re: command. Boyd more back-end utilitarian arm that will eat innings and not kill you. Stuff isn't flashy but there's deception and he uses it well.

For some reason, I love the term "utilitarian arm." Haha.

Players knew about 16 hours ago, I think.

Hey, I'm just translating!

Get a new dictionary. He's saying he could root for Toronto if the Orioles were eliminated for the playoffs. While I could never do that, that's his deal.

Now take it to the PMs if you two want to continue bickering, politely. Abuse of the PM system is also against the rules.

28 Million. For this year only.

My biggest mistake was using the phrase "baseball nerd", clearly.

Toronto makes a lot of big moves that don't pay off. This one won't pay off either, I'm willing to bet. Reyes was a garbage, garbage move from jump street and you know it. Now they had to dump their prospects to fix that mistake, and their prospects are the one thing they do well. But let's just gloss over the fact that they dumped prospects for Reyes, and now they're jumping ship on that by dumping more prospects because it was a spectacular trash fire failure of a move.

And yeah, give me a shut down reliever for 60 games before a TOR starter for 60 games. Every single time.

Carry on.

To be fair, the Jays acquired way more than just Reyes initially. Josh Johnson, Make Buerhle, Emilio Bonifacio, John Buck... But obviously that trade did not pan out very well
