It's odd, right? I think Parmelee was the guy being released before Pearce spoke up. I think they've given up on him. He sat a game or two and hasn't left the 9 hole in several games. I think Buck likes his defense so he is playing, but he is gone when Pearce comes back. Just my opinion...

Agreed.

I agree with this completely. I don't understand it, but I agree. Here is the thing. I don't think people would talk the same way if they were sitting in my living room (if they did, we wouldn't watch games together). They certainly wouldn't if they were sitting in a living room with the wives, children or parents of the players on the team. So, why does the "anonymity" of the internet make it ok? Also, who wants to be around negativity all the damn time?

You might have answered your own question there: some of the posters are people who lean on the internet because they've been chased out of too many living rooms.

Parmelee, Wieters, Snider, Reimold, and Lough have been the root of the offensive problem the last 30 days. Check out their stats during that time frame on fangraphs. It's not pretty. Just too much dead weight at the moment. Acquiring a real COF to play everyday while moving CD back to 1B would be a huge upgrade. Not to mention if Wieters remembers how to properly hit a baseball.

I certainly agree.

But I believe that for all but Parmalee, their chance to perform has been hurt by lack of regular playing time. Not saying for sure any of them would have hit better... But its a lot harder to get on a hot streak with wildly sporadic playing time.

If anything I am more polite on the internet.

Yep! I would be surprised if without any major additions, New York finished over 10 games above .500. They're due for some injuries, they have two decent starting pitchers, and an old mediocre lineup. They've played well up to this point but they've also played EXTREMELY well lately and are due for a rough stretch.

Tex and ARoid are way over their heads too. I expect Tex to fall. ARoid had a whole year to rest and STUFF...
