What a surprise. Another fail with RISP. Yeah Archer is outstanding but it doesn't matter how good the pitcher is the last month, the only constant is the offense being terrible. Jones continues to fail in big spots. Hitting under .240 with RISP. But good thing he's at .318 with the bases empty. And he's hitting .179 in high leverage situations. Not the most clutch guy I'd say, but he's certainly not the only culprit lately.

You are a God Damn enigma! Named Jonesy10 but you're his harshest critic! Not even realistic criticism, just witching for the sake of witching. :ohlord:

Dunno about you guys but I've been almost dreading the games, like back how it was during The Lost Years. I watch all of the games so it's been getting to me. It's become a psychological drag. I hope they have a hot month or something, soon.

And the funny thing is when baseball is over, all I'll be able to think about is Opening Day and how much I miss baseball :laughlol:

I second those emotions. The way the team has done such a good job of finding ways to lose since June 28 have certainly inspired those feelings of dread. It's amazing coming after an 18-5 stretch.

Travis Snider love. Again.

His swing looks different from that of other lefties.

So the hitting coach did talk about using the whole field. I'm very pleased to hear that. I hope the players listen.

Mostly up the middle. "Don't try to do too much with it."
