I probably wouldn't have but that would have had more to do with Parra then Davies.

Parra's BAPIP is pretty low since he's been with the O's compared to his season and career averages. His numbers should improve over time. I hope they do. We need his bat!

The one thing about the Parra deal that concerned me was him coming into a league where he hadn't seen most of the pitchers. Glad to see he's scoring runs in spite of the challenge. For the most part, I like what I see so far.

Too soon to tell what contribution Parra will make to the O's. I was against the deal, in part because I thought Parra would produce closer to his .737 OPS career numbers than to the .886 he ran this year in Milwaukee. So far it is trending that way, but it is way too early to judge.

I am officially on board the re-sign Parra train. If we could re-sign Davis and Parra we would still have a very good offense next year:
