Has anyone noticed that Gregorius has been hitting well for like 6-8 weeks now for the Yanks? He just missed a GS to walk off against the Sox the other day. It would have been out of Yankee stadium by 30 feet. That dude looked awful earlier this year, but the old Yankee "crap turns into gold" thing eventually took hold.

No I haven't. I thought that guy way going to be a defensive only kind guy. But the Yanks seem to have that "magic" touch. Hopefully it doesn't hold.

I'm sad to say that I think the Jays are set up pretty well. The Donaldson trade was huge. I still can't believe Beane made that trade.

There payroll isn't big. $125m this year. They signed a lot of guys to long term friendly deals and have some cost control players that have been lights out.
