With the way he's been pitching...are we sure it hasn't been since May 19th? 5.69 ERA .296/.356/.512 - .868 OPS. Oof. 20 homers in 98 IP. 31 walks. 115 hits.

So just shut him down for the year and let him get healthy. Will be nice to let some of the young guys get a chance.

This is what I'm thinking. He never seemed right after the first DL stint. He was having a pretty good year until then. We didn't have too many injuries this year but Gonzo, Tillman and Norris all came back way too soon it looks like. I get that these guys are tough and we just don't have MLB ready SP's sitting around. But this is where the season got away from us. DD talks about depth all the time. It was obvious he was reluctant to go to our minor league Starters this year.
