Let's look at a group of players who had more significant roles with the club but squandered them. The poor seasons of these 11 Orioles were a major reason why the Birds finished well out of the postseason race.

Very good article. Everth Cabrera is a hidden reason why the team missed the playoffs... he is an afterthought because the team got rid of him early, but he was horrible. Horrible. Of course we weren't expecting so much playing time from him but JJ Hardy got hurt, so that's a double-whammy for JJ.
