Robert Carter is already becoming one of my favorite Maryland players ever.

He's really a complete player. I hope he stays another year (doubtful).

In other news, we are on fire so far in the second half. Haven't been slowing them down much though. Love to see a little more intensity all around on defense. We seem to always be flat-footed and late to rotate over.

Beat me to it. This is Melo's best game distributing the ball. He's taking much better care this half though and the scoring is back. But Paige is the game changer for UNC.

I don't know why Melo wasn't considered a potential lottery pick in the NBA draft last year. I don't follow the NBA much, but I know you need a great point guard in today's NBA. I don't see why Melo couldn't be a slightly lesser Chris Paul.

He wasn't quite ready. Needed to become a better classic point guard in passing and controlling the offense.
