Thanks for posting. Hoping this is true (no pick) but afraid it is what others are speculating, just smoke.

One can always hope, I think this team could use him and I like the fact he doesn't cost a pick.

Heck, he can even golf during the MLB Division Series if he wants:)

One thing - Cespedes loves blue crabs and smoking coffin nails. He's fit right in down in Sowebo, hon! I say sign him.

You're vastly underestimating what can go wrong playing golf IMHO. It can be very hard on certain parts of the body.

And in 2012 Adam Jones lazily played a Jeter fly out into a triple in the ALDS. That stuff happens.
