Latos seems like an ideal guy to take a chance on, high upside.

I vaguely recall hearing negative things about his personality but can't recall the specifics. Can any provide more details on that aspect?

Good info in there. Sounds like injuries have derailed his stuff so he is a bounce-back-if-healthy candidate.

Latos = Seeking a 1 year "pillow contract"

Fister = Seeking 2y $22M

I think Latos (despite his injury concerns) is by far the best option here.
