Regulars are getting time off, so they will be rested for later games.

Only two pitchers have been used since trachsel has left game, which means the rest of the bullpen will be rested and hopefully better for games in the near future.

To continue with my previous thought. One of the reasosn ARI was so sucessful last year was that they pitched the garbage time pitchers in the bad losses they had little chance in (sort of embracing the theory that every team is going to win 40 and lose 40). That way the more effective relievers were available for when it mattered.

I also agree with letting Sarfate work some stuff out after his last outing was a little wild in a game that matters little.

I hope it's either the 9th inning or very close to the 9th inning now. I'm sure the guys are more than ready to get out of this game!
