I would be interested in seeing a Huff 3b/ Mora SS / Roberts 2B / Millar 1B IF as the starting lineup. Im surprised DT hasnt done it already.

No it's not new. I'm pretty sure Mora played SS for us early in his Oriole career.

He played SS when we first got him, from the Mets, as well as a bunch of other positions.

We could pinch hit with Loewen. That would be awesome. I've wondered in the past whether Loewen is a better hitter than Luis Hernandez.

Loewen is definitely our best bat out of all the pitchers...

Millar doesn't have the arm to play third. I suspect he literally couldn't throw the ball to first base from there.

If that were true, every time there was a groundout with a runner on first base he would take third base after the throw to first.

Its just that Huff can play 3B and Mora is at least capable of playing SS for a game or two..DT wants to mess around with the lineup all the time I dont know why he wouldnt go that way.

That, and he used to be an outfielder, so I'm pretty sure he can throw from third to first.

In fact, I'm pretty sure every major leaguer can throw from third to first.

BTW, George Sherrill is due up sixth in the 10th. How ridiculous would it be if the O's had the bases loaded with two outs with the pitcher batting? What would they even do? Have Adam Loewen pinch-hit?
