I'm listening on the radio because MLB.tv's blocked out for me and I don't have cable, but on gameday Roberts' "strike 3" looked a lot further off the plate than Damon's "ball four." The umps are Yankee homers even in Baltimore and the Camden Yards crowd cheers loudly when one of our best players gets called out on strikes. Damn the Yankees!

Also, since I'm listening on the radio, what was the deal with the Jeter triple? Sterling and Waldman really panned Markakis for it and said it went under his glove... if so why wasn't it a single and an error?

Seriously, whenever he gets into slumps his biggest problem is that he's getting bad called strike 3's at least once a game. You'd really think umpires would have more respect for his batting eye by now.
