Those are awesome! I'm in the minority, but I've always felt that the uglier the uniform, the better.

You can also count me as the second person in the world who likes the gold Wiz jerseys. I like them for their hideousness though.

Then you'll probably like this one...

What do you expect from a team named the AquaSox? I mean, what is an aquasock? Not a frog, which is the logo.

What most of you don't know it that the designer of these uniforms - reputed to be the famous "Mr. Dorcus" - designed these uniforms as a personal favor to the then Commissioner of Baseball, testing the waters for a new campaign aimed at correcting the dreadful state of marketing vis-a-vis baseball specifically, and sports in general.

While this rumor cannot be proven conclusively, IMO the following website provides ample evidence that these uniforms were not the product of some drug-addled refugee from the '60's, but instead yet another product of the misunderstood mind of an unappreciated genius of one of America's true "golden ages".

I leave it to the fair-minded of you to come to the defense of this genuine artist in the face of all the scurrilous comments I've read throughout this thread.

No bad uniform post is complete without mentioning "Turn Ahead the Clock Day", maybe the worst idea MLB has ever come up with.

Also the Orioles all orange uniforms are probably the closest they've ever come to the Toros unforms.

I love that they crammed all of the colors from the spectrum into these uniforms. The Orioles colors are orange and black, but it appears that the Toros colors are red, orange, yellow, lime green and brown.

Always a winning combination.

Are the Toros still around? What do their uniforms look like now?

You forgot light blue.
