This can be a good weekend for the Terps. 4 star DT Cam Spence gave his verbal to the Terps this morning. 4 star QB Kasim Hill and 3 star LB Ayinde Eley are expected to announce tomorrow.

This is great news, but I'm not sure how much it truly means at this point.

There's still about 10 months for the elite programs to work on them.

5 star DE Joshua Kaindoh could announce soon and the Terps might be the leader. He is a MD native and played at IMG Academy in Florida.

What a huge commitment for Maryland. Could we get a top 15 recruiting class?

He's not a Terp till he signs. Verbal commitments change frequently. Here,s hoping he is a Terp. Remember Haskins last year. I wonder if we've ever had a Top 25 class. Durkin sure looks good so far.

If all of these recruits stay committed, this has the potential to be the Terps best recruiting class since they started ranking recruits. Some of these guys are some of the highest rated recruits in Terps history. The Terps are really in a tough situation though. As good as this class looks right now, it's still only the fourth best in the B1G East.

I've read that the Terps have a chance to swipe 5 star OT Calvin Ashley from Auburn, so there's that.

Why? He's building a great class and with the new practice facilities, this program is on the rise. Just because one tin man didn't have the heart to stick to his commitment doesn't mean anything. Just like when the QB spurned the Terps for Ohio State. Not every player has the heart to help build something. Most rather walk right in and be another cog in the wheel.
