Too bad his defense committed 4 errors behind him, leading to 2 unearned runs and leaving on the hook for as a loss as I type this.

I watched the whole game. Bedard was amazing. Defense let him down big time. He had the stuff working to pitch a Shut out.

I was at the game (my sister lives in NYC). I'm pretty sure I was the only person there with an O's hat. Bedard was fantastic but the rest of the Mariners were piss poor. The errors were ridiculous.

Bedard is really looking unhittable so far. Opponents are batting .156 off him. Seattle's getitng what they paid for.

I still can't get over the trade. Bedard's pitching well but it's all for nothing, just like I thought it would be.

As long as he extends with you guys, I think the trade will be worthwhile.

Not that it means much, but the M's are my 2nd favorite team now. I'm even tempted to go out and buy a Bedard jersey.

Like he got so much run support (or bullpen support) in Baltimore? If this is his foster home, he must be thinking "this isn't so bad....they're just like my real parents."

By the way, he's still a couple of innings short of qualifying for the league leaders, but would rank 3rd in the league in ERA if he qualified.

He will be the league leader soon....

It took Bedard til May 4th last year to get going. This season Bedard has started out great. It is going to be really interesting to see his final line.
