I actually like the thought process behind this, depending on price, obviously. I much prefer this type of target--underperforming, under control in 2017--than last year's ridiculous Parra acquisition.

His base on balls per 9 innings, strike outs per 9 in ings and whip are all better than last year. It is the home runs that are causing his ERA to go up. Anyway he is better than Jiminez.
