I saw the Yankees play the A's out here in Oakland earlier this year and Torreyes looked like a little kid out there. There's no way he is 5'10". I do think he's a fairly nice player to have around, though.

I predict the Yankees will pass us in the standings within a few days. This was one horrendous opening game performance tonight...horrendous in EVERY phase of the game.And we lose Adam Jones.Just a nightmare game.

I just look at the useless pieces on this team and wonder what DD's plan was or if he even has one. Gallardo, Reimold, etc

Yeah but they aren't counted on to play important parts. Where's the "bad players" on Boston, Toronto, Cleveland, KC, Texas, Detroit, Seattle, those are our comp right now. You may find one or two, but that's it.

Not in my opinion. Jones plays every day when healthy. Having a guy just because he plays CF would be bad roster management. Now, today is a different story. We need to get somebody here.

Facing a hungry, nothing to lose bunch of youngsters is not a good recipe for our tired, slow bunch. JJ looks like he is 50 years old and now AJ is hurt...I would not be surprised if they pass us in the next week.
