I think you're right, but I think Henderson should be hitting in from of Hays and will be in a month or 2. -
I'd go with D- if that was an option; it's a D, but just barely, and only thanks to the Irwin trade. The whole off-season was a wasted opportunity, filled with either lateral moves (Gibson, Givens), head-scratchers (Frazier), or marginal changes. I know that long-term success will ultimately depend on how the youth movement pans out, but an impact reinforcement here or there would have gone a long way. Elias has demonstrated his player-development acumen, but his roster-construction acumen remains a mystery. -
Odor is a quality veteran presence. If he going to bat 100 times a year and play a little defense late when you already have a stacked team, why not. Much different then running him out as your everyday 2nd baseman. -
We are just under 24 hours until first pitch of the 2023 season against the Boston Redsox. What is your prediction for the Orioles starting lineup? I will take a shot at it: Mullins CF Rutschman C Santander DH Mountcastle 1B Hays LF Henderson 3B Stowers RF Frazier 2B Mateo SS It is really weird leaving a guy on the bench who won a gold glove for us last year. -

Eighty at bats of Odor are more palatable than 426. I haven't look at their farm in a hot minute but I'm guessing the are probably a bit thin in the upper minors right now. -
