With the Day off this Thursday

I think I would pitch Gausman on Friday on his regular rest. He looks to me like he is in a groove and right now with Tillman hurt he is the one pitcher I want to start as many games as possible. The division and/or wildcard may come down to 1 game. Gausman doesn't show me any signs of fatigue. Giving Bundy another day can't hurt.

He's already getting an extra day if we just stick with the current rotation. Switching him and Gausman would give him two extra days. I don't think it is a bad idea. The O's have another off-day on Sept. 8, so both Gausman and Bundy would get another extra day there after their next start. And also depending on when Tillman is ready to come off the DL, Buck can play with where to insert him.
