Aside from the Nationals, the Orioles' other Inter-League opponents include the Cardinals and the Cubs.

The Cardinals last visited Oriole Park in 2014, with the Orioles taking 2 out of 3.

The Cubs last visited Oriole Park in 2003, with the Cubs taking 2 out of 3. In the Orioles' lone victory that season, Rick Helling pitched 5 shutout innings for the Birds, followed by Travis Driskill's 4 innings of 1-run ball out of the bullpen for a 6-1 Orioles victory. B.J. Surhoff and Melvin Mora each hit home runs for the Orioles that day, with said 2 players accounting for 4 out of the team's 6 RBI's.

Surprises me. In recent seasons Orioles and Nats alternate who starts at home. This year we were home.

Be interesting to see how they price the Red Sox and Yankee tickets. One weekend against the Yankees in early April Two weekends against the Sox. Both before school ends. Also one in April.

So while there were some things on the 2016 schedule that put a damper on attendance, this one looks a lot more conducive to putting some more butts in the seats. Looks like more weekend games against the Red Sox and Yankees, as well as weekend series against the Cardinals and Cubs.

Why on god's earth would anyone boo him?

Yeah, I don't necessarily think there will be many cheers, but I don't think there is much reason to boo either. A change of scenery did him well...good for him.

The 2017 schedule looks very challenging. There doesn't seem to be an easy month on the schedule. I sure hope the Orioles will resign Trumbo. We will have to score ten runs in order to beat teams like the Cubs and Cardinals.
