And at the time, I remember a lot of the baseball insiders projecting Ross Detwiler to be selected by the Orioles. It would have been interesting to see how different things would have turned out if the Orioles had selected Ross Detwiler in the 2007 Draft and then selected Buster Posey in the 2008 Draft. On one hand, the Orioles would have gotten a much better player in Buster Posey. On the other hand, they likely would have won a few more games and not been able to draft Dylan Bundy and Kevin Gausman who are critical pieces to the Orioles future.

Thats a very interesting topic. Thanks for pointing that out.

Bundy is still a unknown for the future. But the way Gausman has progressed this year and without that key piece this year might be over already.
