I had high hopes for this guy a few years back.  I took a flyer on him as a minor league prospect in my fantasy league when he was in the Dodgers organization.  Has put up strong minor league numbers for years, but couldn't come through when given major league shots.  I think strike outs got in his way.  Seems to have shown to be the prime example of a AAAA player.  Seems to me he has played at LF, RF, CF, 2B, and 3B over the years.  Would be sweet if he were to somehow manage to break through and contribute in the majors for a couple years, but I'm guessing he's organizational depth at this stage.
