As much as I like Caleb, his bat looks real, real slow right now. He buckled a bit on a first pitch slider, then the pitcher got a 94 MPH fastball under his hands for  a weak 6-4-3. His previous two PAs his swing just looks slow. Hopefully he's just trying to get off some rust but i wished the bat speed didn't look so slow.

This is a good point.   I really don't remember him even hitting the ball very hard last season.   Seemed like a lot of weak grounders and pop-ups.
