Mexico took a 9-5 lead into the bottom of the 9th and so far Italy has 2 runs in, bases loaded, and nobody out.  9-7, tie run on 2nd, win run on 1st.

Roberto Osuna and the defense have imploded this inning.

And the announcers are driving me crazy.   A minute ago it was 1st & 3rd, 9-7, and the color guy was talking about how important it was to put the ball in play to get the guy from 3rd home.  Umm, no, you need to get the guy from FIRST home.   Then just now with the bases loaded, Gary Thorne said Osuna was just a ground ball away from getting out of it.   WIth no one out?   I guess you COULD get a ground ball triple play but I don't think it's exactly likely.

Anyway, Osuna is yanked without ever getting an out.

And Italy pulls it out!   5 in the bottom of the 9th off Osuna and Oliver Perez without ever recording an out, and a 10-9 win.

I thought starters could go up to 65 (but if they go 49 or less, they can come back on 3 days rest rather than 4 and possibly be available for a tiebreaker game if needed in the first round).
