Ah, more spring training talk.  lol

I hope it's true as well.

If the question to Graham had been, "how is Dietz looking?" I wouldn't have put much stock in his answer.    But the question was, "who's the one player who's caught your eye?"     The fact that he picked Dietz says something, I think.     Of course, you're right that results once the games count matter more than who "catches your eye" in spring training.

I'm glad. I believe he has potential.

I hope it's true as well.   Let's hope the results at Delmarva match the optimism.    I think I lot of scouting types thought this was a good pick.   In fact, I think most outside folks though our first 4 picks (Sedlock, Akins, Dietz, Hays) were all solid picks.    Looking forward to see where they start and how they do.

BTW, there was talk of Mullins jumping to Bowie in one of the MASN blogs.   I believe one of the main factors in that is that they want Hays to play CF at Frederick this year.   I'd call that an educated guess.

Hays seems to be the real deal.
