Grow the Bullpen

We have had some trouble growing the arms as starters, but the organization has had an excellent run of developing strong bullpen pitchers. The team has even made an effort to draft potential back-end guys. A strong homegrown bullpen is a great way to help keep costs down and allow the franchise to invest in other more expensive positions. Here is a quick summary of some bullpen arms and how they are doing this year. Please add names I missed.

Ryan Meisinger (Bowie) 22-year-old RHP
2015 (GCL/Aberdeen): 18 G, 23.2 IP, 36 K, 5 BB, 1.90 ERA, 0.85 WHIP
2016 (Delmarva/Frederick): 35 G, 74.2 IP, 94 K, 21 BB, 1.57 ERA, 1.06 WHIP
2017 (Bowie): 3 G, 6 IP, 10 K, 1 BB, 0.00 ERA, 0.33 WHIP

Garrett Cleavinger (Bowie) 22-year-old LHP
2015 (Aberdeen) 19 G, 25 IP, 32 K, 18 BB, 2.16 ERA, 1.28 WHIP
2016 (Delmarva/Frederick) 37 G, 76 IP, 102 K, 32 BB, 3.07 ERA, 1.26 WHIP
2017 (Bowie) 2 G, 3.2 IP, 4 K, 1 BB, 4.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP

Jesus Liranzo (Bowie) 22-year-old RHP
2012-2015 - DSL
2016 (Delmarva/Bowie) 27 G, 53 IP, 66 K, 27 BB, 1.87 ERA, 0.89 WHIP
2017 (Bowie) 2 G, 2.2 IP, 4 K, 5 BB, 3.38 ERA, 2.26 WHIP

I think those are some of the more interesting BP options in the minor leagues. You could put Jason Garcia on that list as well.

I don't see that Parker Bridwell has adapted as well as hoped to the bullpen.
