We see what happened to Brach in the 2nd half last year.  We have to protect our top guys.  O'day will help.  We need a guy to emerge that can come in during the middle innings.  Like Chricton, Liranzo etc...

Does that mean, not on the 25?

If the line was set at 25.5 pitchers used in 2017, would you take the over or under?

Considering the dizzying pace that the Orioles have been adding pitchers with options recently, I'd say that would be no surprise.

I like this. Reminds me of the 2012 taxi squads, but with the potential to be even busier--and focused on relievers/spot starters rather than position players like Omar Quintanilla, Lew Ford....

The 15 players who are on the 40 man roster but not on the 25 are "on option" to Norfolk.

Most of those are pitchers.

That makes sense.  We only have 15 position players and are currently carrying an extra.
