Just bad managing by Trembley (who I presume is still calling the shots despite being ejected). Anyone could see that Guthrie was gassed. He was at 120 pitches. He should've been gone after the walk at the very latest.

Seems like Guthrie talked Jauss into letting him stay, and it cost him.
