Clearly this team doesn't have enough pitching, and they would be short proven relievers even if Britton was healthy, but why make a bad situation worse by shuttling pitchers just for the sake of shuttling pitchers?  

The shuttle has nothing to do with helping the pitching staff. It is making room for Mancini and Kim. The theory being that those two will make a bigger difference on offense than the difference between Ynoa/Wilson/Bleier/Verrett, all of whom appear to be basically interchangeable.

He's ok around the zone, but he just does not have MLB quality stuff.

if he can't paint the corners then he just gets pounded.

Steve Johnson time? It's about time to start using the cogs of the shuttle that have to be DFA'd in order to go back and forth. Steve Johnson, Edwin Jackson, etc.

I'm not sure I agree with this.  Buck loves his out-opportunity line, and this is a big way we do it.

I wouldn't be surprised if we set expectations clearly with all the shuttle guys that they are a relay race team.  If you go four, or pitch 3 in 2 nights, it's next man up.  You get a MLB paycheck for 25% of the weeks, and that's a serious thing for AAA lifers.

If any of you are good enough to succeed for 10-15 innings solid in stints, you earn more of a look.

If I'm one of these guys and want to earn nugget points, I'm packing my bag on my own in the clubhouse after going 3 to show I get it, and hoping for the time they stop me.

The bottom half of RP's are now like the bottom half of DL in the NFL - they're all wave players.

Towers was at least good for half to 3/4 of a season for us; Wilson doesn't even have that.
