Now I know what shoulder tendinitis feels like -- OUCH!

Never again will I look askance upon MLB players taking their time to rehab from tendinitis -- I developed sudden and severe right shoulder tendinitis in my non-throwing arm a few weeks ago.  Pain got so bad I couldn't sleep at night or lift my arm even up to eye level.  Wasn't caused by an injury, just cropped up out of the blue.  Got a cortisone shot and have been on prescription NSAIDs and have been doing physical therapy, which has definitely helped a lot.  But it was a scary and bizarre experience, and there is still some lingering tightness and soreness.
