There was a Rockies - Diamondbacks game last year that was 4 h 30 m long. 

 

Of course, the Yankees - Red Sox game ended 1-0 in nine innings with 2 collective hits.

Right.  If those games were consistently 3:30+ then it doesn't make sense for the all time record to be 4:16.
