There was a Rockies - Diamondbacks game last year that was 4 h 30 m long. 

 

Of course, the Yankees - Red Sox game ended 1-0 in nine innings with 2 collective hits.

The Rockies and Diamond backs combined to go 9 for 46 with RISP in the game and commit 5 errors.

No team in that division has won the WS in almost a decade.  And look at the records of the teams in that division not named the Nationals this year:

Marlins 26-33

Braves 25-32

Mets    25-32

Phillies 21-36
