#25 Josh Keaton

Position: P
Height: 6-1
Weight: 200
Class: Senior
Hometown: Colorado Springs, Colo.
High School: Sand Creek HS

2016:   In his junior season Keaton became an RMAC opposition nightmare. His stat line of a 3-6 record, 6.68 ERA,

two complete games, 68.2 innings pitched, and a team high of 87 strikeouts, made Josh a force to be reckoned with

. Keaton also held batters to a .282 BA a

gainst, marking a team low. His highlight performance came on the road against the Regis Rangers, where he gave up only

7 hits and three runs in a complete-game victory of 5-3,

cementing a spot for the Grizzlies in the RMAC playoffs. In this same outing Keaton was able to set a school record

by striking out 14 batters.

2015: In 11 appearances on the mound he and his defense completed 11.2 innings... He also kept his era at 3.09 with 8

strike-outs having faced 48 batters...

Tony's Quick Take: Not content on regular seniors, the O's went with a 5th year senior in taking Keaton. I honestly have no take on this one. Can't find video or information on him besides his schools website and nondescript stats.

This is what I found out about from the Adams State website articles about Josh Keaton the 10th round pick. Tops out at 95 sits at 93-94 CB 81-84. He had 123K's in 82 innings high school and 179K's in 143 innings at Adams State. Surprising a pitcher from Colorado not many pitchers get taken out of Colorado I know I coach baseball there.
